I enjoyed it since I had not been in a movie theater in I don’t know how long, and what I probably most enjoyed was the company I was with. That said, I was able to view the foreign film version with subtitles. It was so much better than the English version it’s not even funny. Check that one out sometime if you aren’t too fried by the first one. It was much better made.

Best of all, thanks for all the money you’ve saved me by helping me to not choose to view most of those movies. I’ve noticed that not liking a bad movie is not enough to get them to give your money back. Due to past great recommendations you have given us, I trust your opinion and value it highly.

Great reviews!! I like Drive more than you did but I completely understand your criticism. I thought Ryan Gosling was so intoxicating in this role that it carried me way past the first ten minutes. I was glad that it wasn’t a movie with a bunch of chase scenes…we’ve seen all that before. Also in deffense of Drive, I could be wrong but it seems like the word “Drive” was not meant to be thought of as merely driving a car. Would it be pretentious to suggest that “Drive” could also mean the characters (especially the villains) are striving towards a goal? I dunno. It’s not a masterpiece of a movie but I kinda loved it.
